Merle Kreibich created In-House Music some 17 years ago, to bring jazz
fans like yourselves, a place to go to hear incredible jazz music and to meet
and hear some of the finest jazz musicians performing today. She
knew in her heart that the venues who came on board to support this
unique idea of "Neighborhood Jazz", would also reap the benefits of the local
community supporting their establishments. Now, with over a dozen In-House
Music clubs/venues under our belts, and the joy of keeping hundreds of musicians employed during the year, not to mention seeing club attendance grow in leaps and bounds,
Merle and I sat down at LAX Jazz lounge located in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, in LA, to talk about this music she loves and dedicated her life to promote. This interview was recorded April 28, 2013.
