Saxophonist Gary Bias raised in Los Angeles, Ca. Began playing at the age of 11 when his parents bought him a saxophone for his birthday. He played in all the school bands and music programs, and in the seven grade, he met Gerald Albright, and they became best friends and band buddies. Gary attended Locke High School in Los Angeles where he met other musicians like Patrice Rushen, Ndugu Chansler. Gary debut album called East 101 on Nimbus Records was recorded over 25 or so years ago. Gary has perform with Quincy Jones Orchestra, Randy Crawford, Willie Bobo, just to name a few. Presently he's playing with Earth Wind & Fire. Gary is working on a new CD, with his single "Under the Moon ad Over the Sky" on ITunes, Cdbaby.. It was good talking with Gary, he was one of my first interview back in mid 80's when Night Journey was just getting started. A real pleasure visiting with him again. The show was recorded March 11,2014 in Los Angeles, Ca.
